"Tested this during a brutal thunderstorm in the Rockies – 50mph winds and horizontal rain! While my buddy's tent collapsed, the Pete Chu stood rock-solid. The dual-layer waterproofing kept everything dry, and the aircraft-grade poles barely flexed. Only wish: add a gear vestibule. Best $250 I've spent on camping gear!"

"Used during a Denali prep climb where temps hit -12°F. The 850FP goose down kept me sweating (yes, sweating!), and the mummy cut allows side-sleeping. Compresses to half the size of my old bag. Pro tip: Get the compression sack – it fits in a carry-on!"
